DemonRun

DemonRun is a First Person Roguelike and is created in Unity for 7DFPS, a game jam where you make a first person shooter in 7 days. We set out to create a shooter where the player needs to run through maze like levels while shooting enemies, upgrading his guns at slot machines and trying to stay out of reach of the Immortal Demon that is chasing them!

My main responsibilities during this project was to create presets of level blocks that whould be used during the random generation of the levels. Appart from this I also worked on creating different enemy types and all of the possible gun upgrades in close cooperation with the programmer.

Besides the game design I was also responsible for most of the art in the game. Although the game is in 3D, our goal was to use only 2D assets projected on planes inspired by classic games such as Doom. I did all the creature designs, animations and most of the environment art.
